Simply Rooted Morning Routine Guide

Rooted in faith. Nourished in body. Focused in mind.

1. Devotion & Quiet Time (10–15 minutes)

Start your morning in stillness with the Lord.

  • Read a passage from your Bible or devotional (ex: Proverbs, Psalms, or the Gospels)

  • Journal your thoughts, prayers, or gratitude

  • Reflect on a verse that stands out

  • Example verse:
    “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33

🕯 Optional: Light a candle, sip herbal tea, or sit outside in nature for a peaceful setting.

2. Stretch & Move Your Body (10–20 minutes)

Honor your body with gentle movement.

  • Try light stretching, yoga, walking, or breathwork

  • Play instrumental worship or nature sounds

  • Focus on being present and thanking God for your body

3. Hydrate & Nourish (15 minutes)

Fuel your body with something clean and energizing.

  • Start with warm lemon water or ginger tea

  • Prepare a nourishing breakfast (like oats, smoothie, or eggs + greens)

  • Consider an anti-inflammatory shot (ex: turmeric + honey + ACV + cayenne)
